The "e-WBL@HoME" Project concludes in Brussels with the Final TPM
On October 30 and 31, 2024, the final meeting of the European project “e-WBL@HoME: Adapting WBL to the post-covid era” was held in Brussels. Project partners gathered in person for the final TPM (Transnational Project Meeting), an occasion to validate and celebrate the achievements made and discuss the future of Work-Based Learning (WBL) in the post-Covid era.
The e-WBL@HoME Project: Adapting for the Future of Work-Based Learning
Launched with the goal of supporting and adapting WBL methodologies to the new needs created by the pandemic, the e-WBL@HoME project explored how hands-on learning and work integration can evolve in an increasingly digital and remote context.
With the collaboration of international partners, the project addressed various themes, including:
- Digital integration in WBL: strategies for incorporating digital tools into practical learning.
- Distance and blended training: adapting the WBL approach to offer flexible learning options.
- Sustainability of skills: supporting trainers and companies in updating skills to meet the demands of the post-Covid work environment.
The Final TPM in Brussels: A Step Toward Project Completion
The meeting in Brussels marked the culminating moment of the project, where partners had the opportunity to exchange experiences, share insights, and validate the results achieved. This in-person event allowed participants to reflect on the challenges overcome and consolidate the processes developed to adapt WBL to new educational and professional realities.
Conclusion and Future Outlook
With this final meeting, the “e-WBL@HoME” project is nearing its conclusion, leaving a significant mark on the field of WBL and offering concrete resources for training and working in an increasingly connected and digital era. The closing event in Brussels represents not only the validation of what has been built but also a new starting point for future projects aimed at making WBL even more accessible and innovative.
