Founded in 1992 followed by a completely renewation in 2010, the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) is an umbrella association gathering a heterogenous range of educational providers in the common interest of enhancing, upgrading, and harmonising Vocational Education and Training (VET) at European level. In accordance with its Statutes, the duty of the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training promotes youths and adults alike in the following areas:
providing a liberal education in terms of social, economic, and sociopolitical issues taking particular consideration of European policies and policies towards the developing world based on a socially binding, liberal economic and social order,
promoting technical, vocational, or industrial qualification, continuing education, and advanced training in addition to retraining,
providing scientific education,
providing education with regard to personal or family issues,
promoting qualification, continuing education and advanced training in the fields of geriatric care, work with the disabled and nursing services,
developing media and its use,
promoting environmental qualification.
EVBB’s mission lies in breaking down traditional hierarchies between VET and higher education and promoting the qualitative improvement of vocational schools and training and in promoting VET as a first choice. EVBB has more than 60 members from all over the world coming from both the private and the public sector and covering all fields related to initial, advanced, and further education and training.
Neither politically nor denominationally affiliated, EVBB strives for a borderless, pluralistic, and fulfilling education as an essential means to shape our democracy and society. Its activities are not focused on business operations or making a profit. It serves solely and exclusively non-profit purposes within the meaning of the General Fiscal Law as it is valid in the Federal Republic of Germany.
EVBB’s permanent staff is based in the EU headquarters so to keep on a close ongoing dialogue with EU institutions.

Starting in 1993 under the name of “BK Consult” as a free-lancing initiative, transferred in 2019 into the BK Consult GbR (civil law society) nowadays organised as a Limited the BK Consult GmbH can look back on around about 20 years of expertise in transnational projects having participated in the design and implementation of a total project value that exceeds the budget of 4 billion Euros, operating in multicultural environments. In the field of Quality Assurance BK Consult GmbH conducts quality assurance processes in ERASMUS KA2 and KA3 projects, like par example Digi-Path, ICT4Elders, FlyVETUp, UNIQUE, Astra, Ind4.0, etc.

In 2022 AKMI celebrates half a century of quality in VET training. In all those years AKMI has been a driver for change, introducing innovative practices that have contributed to VET excellence at a local, regional, national and EU level.

EUROTraining is a Vocational Educational Centre of national scope, specializing in the sectors of Entrepreneurship, ICT, Financial Management and Tourism. Key Activities provided are modern vocational training programs (blending learning using ICT), web-based Learning Management Systems, human resources training seminars, and inter- entrepreneurship training seminars. Eurotraining holds 3 affiliations in three main cities in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos), with teaching classrooms, IT Laboratories, specialized equipment for disabled people, libraries with internet access, child care facilities, and evaluation system of training tasks (ARGUS ERP)

The Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) is located in Ancona, Italy and it was established in 1971. UNIVPM has now about 17000 students and include five faculties (Engineering, Science, Economic Sciences, Medicine and Agricultural Sciences), which permanently employ about 550 academics and 550 technical/administration staff. UNIVPM has increased its presence at European level due to a high standard in research and industrial collaborations for research and development and innovation. The Agricultural Genetics group at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences (D3A) is involved in several innovative national and international scientific projects and in particular is now coordinating the Horizon 2020 funded INCREASE project.
